1.) Dave Jones has peaked, he has nothing left to offer and has taken this team as far as his skill set allows
2.) We are 'lumbered' with other clubs 'problem children' and injury prone players
For instance:
Bothroyd
Chopra
Bellamy
3.) Jones holds a grudge against players that may have voiced an opinion, which a good performing manager can not do
4.) He holds some players accountable, eg Matthews, but wouldn't have a cross word against some of the other players
