The commentator on sky sports also said that it was a blatent offence by Forde and how on earth the linesman missed it he didn't know.

It was a strange one because he looked yards out from our end but the lino was right in line with him so surely must have seen it clearly.

as for the penalty decision,ok it was not a pen,but how can the 4th official overule the ref when he has made his decision.

I agree, it seems wierd that the ref who's 20 yards away, max can be over-ruled by a guy 60 yards away.
I always thought the 4th official was there as a time-keeper only.
Was a good tackle from Purse mind, but strange behaviour from the officials.

it was a well timed tackle and i thought the same as you about the fourth officials duties,very strange.

Is it me, or are officials ALWAYS against us? Be it, an obvious offense like this or a penalty appeal turned down, or even overturned!!
