Can anyone tell me why it is better than the old one??
I'm not a heavy user and wondered if it might not suit me better to wait til the 'offers' start on the iPad1

It's thinner faster and lighter.
It has two cameras you can make facetime video calls.
Record hd movies and the covers are magnetic.
