The acid test is what he does if he takes over - balls it up, too late, we're damaged. We've zero publicly available information with which to assess the genuiness of Steele.

if he wants to take control of the club there has to be an EGM with the shareholders.
if he dosent take control there will still be an EGM soon
either way there will be an opportunity for shareholders to voice their disapproval of our chairman

It works like this.

Steele doesn't pay £40m for CCFC he only pays £12m the cost of buying out Ridsdale/PMG & Others @ 30p per share, but also takes on the Langston/PMG debts as a going concern.

The debts are serviced on an 'interest only' basis, total cost between now and the summer approx. £500,000

The Hotel and Sport of Leisure land sites are sold off to pay the HMRC tax bill.

Dave Jones given a boosted playing budget and signs 3 loan players which costs the club £500,000 between now and the summer.

The £3m raised through season ticket sales plus walk up/sponsorship/prize money etc is enough to keep the club going until the summer.

We make the play-offs and are promoted to the EPL. The Club sold in the summer for £30m plus debts.

There might be a problem with the House of Sport site, although as a property developer there is nothing stopping Ben Steele from building the House of Sport himself.

The House of Sports is supposed to be built by 31 Dec this year.

However, I'm sure the council wouldn't mind too much providing the project was under way by then.

The value of the hotel plot is between £1.5/2.5m as revealed by Ridsdale at the Muni Club. Two years ago it was valued at £5m

My Advice = march, post, email, protest and do what it takes to get that cancer PR out of your club. You might go back a step but think of the future. You don't deserve a b*stard like him ruining your footballing weekends home or away! I am a staunch jack with many city friends and to be honest when we (swansea) went through the shit with petty many of my CCFC backed us. All I am saying is get together, unite and say enough is a f*cking enough! PR is taking the piss out of hard working CCFC fans and their wages FFS!

Sound like a good idea but would the Malaysians let someone make money off their backs when they are close to dealing themsevles? I can't see the takeover and bringing in 3 new players before the transfer window shuts.
