Old City songs you don't hear

Fri Apr 15, 2011 10:36 pm

Remember the old one about the Pilchards?

oooooh we are the city boys
we go out in our boats
and when we get back home
we eat, we eat, we eat

PIIIIIIIIILLLLLCCCHHAAAAARRRRRRRDSSS!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

Think it was soemthing to do with Cardiff being the worlds biggest exporter of pilchards during the turn of the last century.

I never liked signing that one. It was always a Chelsea song in my eyes. Although it is a song that goes on and on and you build up to it. Short songs are harder to keep going.

I always liked if I had the wings of a eagle (or seagull) if I had the arse of a crow I'd fly over to Bristol city and shit on the bastards below!
