They drank safely without any threat and that is how it should be. But then we look at our away trip to QPR this season they had gangs of QPR roaming around trying to get to our fans. QPR fans picking off small numbers or scarfers, Fireworks set off at us. Wow what a difference between the two games and don't get me wrong if they had come looking for it they would of found it that's for sure.
Case two Portmouth no problems and a few of us showed 7 Pompey fans around Cardiff on a drinking fest top night. Earlier on this season 2 Cardiff fans were battered senseless by a large gathering of Pompey.
Case Three Last season Cardiff fans let Newcastle fans have a safe access to all areas of our City and on our return we was abused Attacked ambushed and made totally unwelcome.
Why are we holding out the red carpet to away fans here in Cardiff but the same treatment is not forthcoming when we go away. Just an observation

I noted yesterday though that a load of QPR were bussed to the ground and then back to the station after the game. Can't help wondering if the day would have been so friendly if those fans had been escorted by foot to and from the ground. I would love to think it would have been but something tells me that some idiots on both sides would have ensured it wouldn't have been. Perhaps the police guessed that and that's why they used the buses?
