Done it twice mate, and never prepared anything.
Do all the thanking first then rattle into alot of shit, leave the cards til last.
Must have done me ok, got my 3rd one coming up

just google "Best mans speech" find a good one and just copy the format or even the jokes, thats what I did when I was best man for my brother.
