What if QPR appeal?

Sky sports stated today that there was a possibility that QPR could find themselves in the playoffs if things went against them.They followed this up by stating that it could turn messy if QPR then appealed (which undoubtedly they would) but later they said that the playoff dates were fixed in stone and would not be changed.This would suggest that the whole matter (the result and any appeal) would be concluded before the first playoff match. Considering all this would be expected to be concluded in less than a fortnight, do you think that this would be possible or would the playoff dates have to be moved?

Seriously it does have the potential to derail the playoffs so it might affect us shortly.
