There were undoubtedly other fans there who after a few too many pints were also going to be a pain in the arse and if I was a player I wouldn't be able to get away quick enough from the likes of Dai Hunt and other clowns like him. So don't blame the players really. It's disappointing for the rest of the fans but if only the arseholes would learn how to behave themselves then perhaps things would be different. In previous years we didn't have problems with players leaving so early but now we are getting bigger crowds we have a bigger proportion of right clowns and probably a few more of them are now attending these do's.

They decided against that one, because it basically meant that whoever won was shit in the previous season!

Keinan stayed and McNaughton.
Not sure about any others, all attended except Koumas, but you are right, most of the 'NAME' players pissed off very soon after the awards were given out - which was a bit sad really.
Fair to say Mcnaughton got the most applause of anyone.
Player of the Year... Super Kev, closely followed by Mark Hudson
LAST YEARS player of the year -WHittingham
Moment of the season - Bellamy's goal vs Donny
Goal of the season - Bellamy
Burke got an award - I think for most MOM's, but I'm not sure as I was worried about the flash photography giving him sunstroke.
Heaton got young player of the year.
Dai Hunt was a pain in the arse to the players.

Dai Hunt was a pain in the arse to some of the audience as well
He did make me laugh outside the main entrance just before the start. He was randomly walking up to groups of young lads and telling them that if any of them wanted to talk to the players , Dai would arrange it all for them.
