OT - Charity challenge

Just wondering has anyone done a charity challenge like the sahara desert walk etc

Are they good and do you have to pay yourself or can you use 50% of sponsorship money etc cos I would love to do one but can't afford the prices they are asking

Just read it properly and you can use sponsorship money to pay except for the initial deposit
