I personally can't stand the man but I can see him being our new manager next season. As we all know, whenever we play one of his teams, he's forever in the paper saying how much he loves us and the Welsh people, and with Dave Jones position looking pretty precarious after the play offs are over and we are unsuccessful, I really can see this happening. Warnock himself isn't absolutely certain of being QPR manager next season and the speculation hints that they may appoint a foreign manager so maybe if the opportunity arises, Warnock will put his money where his mouth is and become our new manager next season

Cant see why he would want to take over a team as it is now ,In the championship when he has just busted his balls to take a club up into the prem. Sorry you wont see him here any time soon.

I think the premise of the post is that Warnock could be out of work if they splash the cash on an new Manager. Which has been mentioned in the press. However I think he will be given a chance as he will near enough do it for free to get his chance at being a prem manager.

Not a chance he is QPR manager. I would say Houghton but if I had a choice it would defo be Poyet but the same as Wornock he is already employed

I would like to see Poyet as our manager but, as he has just got Brighton up and they are a stable club, I couldn't see him leaving them. QPR, however, under their current owners, aren't so stable and I could see them getting shot of Warnock as he wouldn't fit their bill as a cosmopolitan European style club. Just my opinion but I don't think it's too far wide of the mark

Hhhhmm but as Stan said he ain't going anywhere and has the support of the board. Anyway what club in there right mind would sack a manager after getting promotion ? Oh yes us

Going nowhere.
Amit Bhatia has already publicly announced Warnock will lead us into the Prem & his actual words were 'As long as we are here Neil will be our leader'
Loves London & IF that's IF he was ever to leave (which he won't) I'd put my money on him going to West Ham not Cardiff.
Di Matteo & Chris Hughton are both available. Go get em.

Wild horses couldn't drag Neil Warnock away from QPR right now not only has he done a magnificent job this season with the team but the way he managed all the bollocks around this FA thing was pure class.
However if QPR got rid, and I don't think for a second they will, Warnock/Sullivan/Gold and Brady well it just wouldn't work would it.
I think we should be more interested in any QPR players who are out of contract this season as we start to build again for another shot at promotion next season.
Not negative I still think we have the firepower in our squad to get Rogers/McDermott and Davies reacing for the brown trousers but you just have to think ahead.

I Would love Warnock as Our Manager and IF OFFERED I KNOW HE WOULD LOVE TO MANAGE A CLUB LIKE CARDIFF
Mon May 09, 2011 3:12 pm
I'd love to have Poyet as a manager, showing lots of composure and players love him, if DJ bottles once again he's gotta be no.1 target because he is young and high profile clubs are already targeting him (probably)

stop dreaming you lot

well as a qpr fan i would hate to lose warnock he really is a great manager,if you are looking for a top manager and you dont get warnock i think you should try holloway,he is very simular to warnock, but at blackpool he had no money available at all,i still think you can come up,BUT TO BEAT READING YOU MUST BELEIVE THAT YOU CAN BEAT THEM .
good luck friendly welshmen

I've always felt this, too. That's why I said (or hinted), that if he is out of work, he should put his money where his mouth is

Hi chaps,
long time lurker, first time poster. Based in London and couldn't help but pick on the Warnock love in on this thread. Great manager for sure, but I have attached a report put on one of the local rags on QPR transfer targets.
"QPR are looking to carry out an audacious quadruple swoop of stars from their Welsh Championship rivals.
A source close to QPR has confirmed their possible interest in buying Scott Sinclair and Darren Pratley from Swansea and Peter Whittingham and Jay Bothroyd from Cardiff.
It is understood that cash strapped Cardiff may have little opportunity but to listen to offers for their star players now that promotion to the Premiership looks unlikely. Questions have been raised about third party ownership issues around key members of their squad and about the relative financial position of the club.
For Swansea the question is whether they will be able to retain big name stars in future if they don't achieve promotion this year. Given their lack of financial clout and relatively unknown manager there is little to indicate that such a small club would be able to reinforce its squad to compete effectively in what is likely to be a much tougher Championship next season.
In such circumstances it is difficult to see how either club would be able to resist the financial might of newly promoted QPR - now the richest club in the Premiership. There were fears in swansea last night that the likes of Scott Sinclair would be lured back to the capital with a chance of playing in the Premiership and long and lucrative wages likely to be on offer.
Although both Welsh clubs are likely to be quick to deny the rumours there is little evidence that they will be able to retain key players next season should QPR make a serious approach."
Probably all nonsense, and not most accurate of articles for a start. Sure there will be more of this type of thing as QPR will be linked to everyone at the moment given how much cash they have. Still, might be something in it.Could be possible if DJ is shown the door and the Malaysians start to get to grips with finances.

If I was him and I got the sack I'd pack it all in. Can't see him coming to a dodgy club like ours.

It could happen I guess. But it would need something special to make it work.
I would be far more worried about the timing of any approach to us for any of our players. Last thing that we need ahead of Reading is anyone having their concentration disturbed with talks of big money contracts from QPR. Can't help but think it is more likely than Warnock coming to us.
