Hey fellow bluebirds
ive been an avid reader(for over a year) of what i feel is the best forum in the land!
its very balanced and good that we welcome other fans (even if they have 6 fingers)
my first post is regarding who people think can take us further if we dont achieve our goal, i feel that if we go up, some major changes will need to come in to the club and that includes a new squad and dare I say it, a new gaffer
a lot has been said on this board regarding DJ, my feeling is if we head up, can he get the right players? can he get the players motivated?
the answer is a simple NO
watching DJ, especially in interviews, he comes across very cocky and bitter and always seems to blame others
if he could only channel that cockiness into positivity
anyways, there are a few names that have floated about recently
big sam
martin o niell (cant see it personally)
neil warnock (talk of a foreign gaffer at qpr)
chris hughton
Di Matteo
the list goes on
i think we need a manager who is the exact opposite to DJ,
driven
motivated
a style that gets the ball wide and using our strengths
i was a big fan of eddie howe but for obvious reasons thats out of the question
onto friday, can see us getting a positive result and i think we have enough to get us to the final then it all depends on us turning up at wembley because if we do, no one in the league is better......
