Very true Chris. This is one of the reasons the Indian FA did not want him playing for them.

Chops returned to us last season after a successful first spell and I was delighted to have him back but in light of his behaviour of the course of this season, has he taken his position within the club for granted ?

There have been late night parties and gambling amounts of money in one evening than many people earn in a year.

His lack of form coincided with his obvious lack of fitness and he appeared to be overweight and out of shape.

Roy Keane put Chops in rehab for 'personal issues' which I believe means drinking and gambling addiction. Keane could not tame him, DJ brought him back and thought he could help Chops, so much so I believe DJ said about Chops staying in DJ's house when he first returned.

Chops his on record as saying he wants to repay the manager for putting his faith in him, well if that is the thanks then I wouldn't want to see how bad it could get if went off the rails.

For me you can lead a horse to water but you can't force him to drink.

So for that reason it is my opinion that Michael Chopra should be sold to the highest bidder this season regardless of who the buying club would be.

Opinions please.

is he mortgaged????

At his best he's inconsistent but gives 100%. He's not been professional enough this season though and I wouldn't be too sad to see him go.

Is Rooney unfit or have fitness problems?
Chops worked harder than anyone over 2 legs in the play/offs.

Rooney has always had that build Chief. Chopra has only recently acquired his, that is the difference. Had it not affected his performance there would be no problem but it clearly has

Yes Stan it is, I posted it before you joined this site and the initial meeting took place in Dubai

Thanks mate.

Interesting. So his head has been elsewhere clearly for a while. Are you in a position to say whether he wanted the move or whether CCFC were trying to offload him? If not no probs just interested.

Before Xmas I really wanted us to go for him but £3m I think it was seemed steep. In hindsight the bright lights of the smoke would of ruined him.

The Smoke would of ruined him !!!!!!!!!!!! Bloody hell Stan you have seen the state of him now, the smoke would implode him

Playing devils advocate, if we are such a family club as a lot say we are. If we want to be one big family, then surely we should support Chops, as he clearly has his demons.

I'm really not sure what we should do, on his day he is class, however are his habits preventing his skills from shining through ?

Get rid sorry. If we are a family club we need our families to look up to our players. Chropra is not an example I want my kids to admire.

It's time to act......and act fast......

Dave Jones is a guy I have always supported through thick and thin.....but as always, things change in life.

Thanks for your efforts Dave but it's time to move on.

As for Chops......doesn't hold any respect so get rid......asap.

How can we possibly support a player who has quite frankly shit all over us not giving 2 hoots about our club.

Bye bye and good riddance....
