Jay & Burke gone !

Cardiff have confirmed that striker Jay Bothroyd and wing Chris Burke will not be at the club next season.
Both players were out of contract and a club statement on their retained list confirmed that both men would leave.
"Contracts have not been offered to Jay Bothroyd and Chris Burke following an inability for all parties to agree suitable terms," read the statement.
Gavin Rae and Martin John have been released, while Adam Matthews leaves having agreed terms with Celtic.
On-loan players Craig Bellamy, Jason Brown, Stephen Bywater, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Jason Koumas, Seyi Olofinjana and Jlloyd Samuel are to return to their parent clubs.
The moves come at the end of a season in which the Bluebirds again failed to win promotion from the Championship to the Premier League.
They lost 3-0 on aggregate to Reading, all of the goals coming in the play-off semi-final second leg at Cardiff City Stadium, condemning Dave Jones' side to fourth place.
However, Wales star Bellamy has said he is keen to return for another season should Manchester City agree to another loan deal, having played for his hometown club throughout last season.
Anthony Gerrard, Solomon Taiwo and Aaron Wildig are to return to Cardiff City having been on loan at other clubs.
Emerging players Jonathan Meades and Jordan Santiago have been offered new professional contracts, while manager Dave Jones' squad will be boosted from the youth ranks as Academy players Ibrahim Farah, Nathaniel Jarvis and Alex Evans have all been offered senior terms.
Sameth Al-Basith and Steffan Jones have been released from the Academy.

Farah best get match time, he has talent and flair and would be a nightmare for some defences. If Jones is still here though, never going to happen.

I hope the lads from the youth team get a chance we have some good players (Farah, Jarvis, Dane Griffiths)

Sad to see Steffan Jones being released, I remember seeing him talking about the effect of a Welsh side reaching the Premier League on an S4C programme the other day ! Came across as a nice lad, and he could speak Welsh !
