Interesting. During the same period how many "home grown" players have broken into the first team?

the "Goalkeepers in" list is the most awful thing ever

how we've missed having a quality presence behind the defenders

interesting, thats almost 3 goalkeepers per year in, is that some sort of record???

He seems to have a horrendous eye (or his scouts have) for goalkeepers. The amount of shit gk's we have had is unreal. Bywater being one of the worst. I said to my mate when he ran out against Reading that he would make a rickett....sadly I was right.

and I always thought DJ was good with his hands ;)

The thing is, the keepers always turn up a decent standard. Martyn Margetson just turns them shit. Bring back George Wood! :ayatollah:

Bit harsh on the keeper front, most of them are loans because others are injured. who would have thought Marshall and Heaton would get long term injuries? Bywater and Brown although poor was the best he could get sadly.

who is wogan though? never heard that name before.

There a quite a few players there that are youth players so it's not quite that many in however cracking research for the list. There are not too many cracking signings are there?

No, indeed. Hope the new manager's got a good eye for spotting decent players.

In fairness to Brown, he never had a chance to prove whether he was any good or not, surely he couldn't have been any worse than Bywater?

Byewater cost us the Prem , harsh but true ..............if he was the best then the leagues are full are Conference reserve keepers which i do not believe :ayatollah:

I remember at the time when he let Alexander go,rather than give the real reason that he'd stood up to him and his card was marked, he said something along the lines of Neil is a good goalie, but we are looking to get the best goalie, well he spent a lot of time and money looking.l

i was suprised in the reading game that jones did not put parkin in goal.
remember our school days when you used to put the fat boy in goals when you were having a kick about.
alternatively he could have stood parkin next to bywater for free kicks and corners and it would have been the equivilant of bricking the goals up.

That's harsh on Margetson. If he's our only Goalkeeping Coach and he's having to try to coach 3 new goalkeepers a year, it's never going to be positive outcome. Why we can't just pick one Goalkeeper and stand by them for more than a few months?

Who the hell are Wogan and Corcoran? Never heard of them.

Very interesting list, that's a lot of players! To be fair, there are some very good players in there. Just a shame there seems to be 2 bad players brought in, for every good player brought in.

not sure that is a true list of signings he must of inherited some of those which would make his signings look even worse as a quick glance at that list looks like inhrited players turned out to be not to bad eg ledley ramsey blake etc many more im sure :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
