Kevin MacNaughton at left midfield for me.....our version of Ji-Sung Park, giving the left back more protection

Re: our team as it stands

Tue May 31, 2011 10:17 am

Have previoulsy said this, new manager is usually stuck with players with 2/3 years left on their contract and can only bring in a few of their own players, with us new guy can literally bring 10 new faces of his own liking.

Robson-Kanu welsh connection if Bellers decides..

Re: our team as it stands

Tue May 31, 2011 10:49 am

Sotirios Kyrgiakos doubles up as a hit man when on the back foot playing up front
nugent still young and able
ernie still competent at this level

put the beast out to graze :D

Re: our team as it stands

Tue May 31, 2011 11:16 am

I believe we need to start the rebuilding in the middle of the park, we were overun too many times last season and the season before for my liking, obviously a striker or two would be more than welcome as well.

Re: our team as it stands

Tue May 31, 2011 8:39 pm

thats why i put nugent a ernie

Re: our team as it stands

Tue May 31, 2011 8:53 pm

clearly midfield is our focus plus we should hope to get Bellers back

I agree, Gabor was quality and played in every match in October when we won 5 matches in a row! Then he makes 1 mistake and DJ slates him and pretty much plays him never again!

They are just the players i'd have from that list! We won't get them all but i'd be happy with anyone off that list.

Re: our team as it stands

Wed Jun 01, 2011 1:43 pm

yeh what i meant by the original topic was who would you add to what we have left and what would you do with what we currently have.
BLUE=first team, BLACK=subs, GREEN=fringe/cup RED=time to move on

David marshal
Tom Heaton – Bottles gone
Jordan Santiago

Kevin McNaughton
Lee Naylor - Shit
Mark Hudson
Gabor gypes
Dekel keinan
Paul Quinn
Anthony gerrard
Darcy Blake
Alex Evans

Peter Whittingham
Stephen McPhail
Aaron wildig
johnathan meads
Solomon Taiwo
Ibrahim Farah

Jon parkin – old and fat
Michael chopra - alki
nathanial Jarvis

so you can see from this i think we need to buy midfielders and strikers with a back up goalkeeper and allround defender

Re: our team as it stands

Wed Jun 01, 2011 2:15 pm

obviusly players coming in would be first team or subs bench depending on fitness, think i got a good side there :)

Robert Green

Sotirios Kyrgiakos dropping keinan to the bench
Adrián López Rodríguez (piscu)

Rory Delap
Moustapha Salifou
Gary Taylor-Fletcher - attacking midfield
Kazenga LuaLua - attacking midfield
bellamy - attacking midfield

Kevin Phillips
Simon Cox
Robert Earnshaw
David Nugent

Re: our team as it stands

23 man squad with players sold, and the youth/fringe players taken out, not sure if they count in the 25 man squad that has to be named anyway

Paul Quinn
Anthony gerrard
Darcy Blake
Sotirios Kyrgiakos

Re: " Our team as it stands Today "

LETS SPEND SOME f*cking MONEY

It's always loans and frees with the City!

Plus we need people who see this club as a step up.....Like Clayton Donaldson from Crewe, fast, powerful, hungry and gets goals. Or Sordell from Watford.
