Whittingham Critics - your forgetting a few things

alot of people are dissapointed with whittingham and would be happpy to let him move clubs...
surelyforgetting a few things? - he was inspirational on our road to wembley cup final, it was whittinham who's 20+ goals tally got us to the play off final. minus his contribution their is no player who could of replaced him capable of that scoring record.
and he scored the memorable winning penalty against leicester.
he's not had a fantastic season, he's been off par is because of the pressure and poor management, it just didn't happen for him this term , but he will recapture form if our midfield is strong defensively, whitts, mcphail, oli, JET - is not a good balance!!
he's an acceptional talent, capable of producing sublime moments that win games. his set pieces are always a threat he regulary scores free kicks and from outside the box, the only other midfielders you see do that , are the likes of gerrard or lampard... ,
you rarely get blessed with midfielders capable of finishing top scorer in a full season.
defo one of the first players on my squad list for next season!

Fully agree! He hasnt been like last season but hes still scored the same ammount as bellamy this season.
In our side hes the only one to score from 25 yard plus. Hes a must keep.

Agree, he's a class act at this level and would walk into any other championship team! Can't believe the amount of criticism he gets!

I'd say he's a better all round player now than last season despite the difference in his goal returns. People seem to forget that last season when he scored 20+ goals he was mainly used on the wing but with Bellamys arrival last summer he statred to play more centrally and deeper so that was gonna limit his goal scoring. Plus he was actually getting stuck into tackles last season whereas before he would shirk them! Definitely keep him
