when you look at players who have gone straight from playing into management a fair few have done well so far.

paul ince

steve bruce
neil lennon
roy keane

all finished playing and pretty much went straight into managment, i know bellamy is still playing and playing well but experience isnt everything, when that day comes, and i hope its with us!

i would have agreed with you until about half hour ago, some of the names being branded about are scaring me
bellamy still playing but with burton have a far greater role on the side than he was allowed under Jones

Kenny dalglish at liverpool late 80's springs to mind, didn't he have loads of success as player manager there, and had the burning passion for his club too just like bellers has for us
