Another name thrown into the ring? Would do a decent job as he has Cardiff in his heart.

Wouldn't be dissapointed to see him at CCS.

No we need someone with more experience than Kav. Whoever come in needs to address the following issues:

BUILDING THE SQUAD
It's a big job with at least 10 new players needed....all of first team quality. We have virtually no midfield or attack to speak of (thanks Dave) and a lot will depend on who gets the manager's job and what sort of budget he has. But we've all seen the list of available freebies and if we act quickly there are some decent players to be had there. Also, I think it's worth taking a punt by looking at some of the up and coming youngsters in the lower leagues. And what about players from abroad..other clubs do it??

BUILDING THE CLUB
This in the long term is far more important and far more difficult because it means:
Appointing a back room staff such as Assistant Manager, Reserve Team Manager as well as reviewing the rest of the set up. Have we got the best people in charge of the Academy? Have we got a good sports science team looking at stats and performance analysis? Have we got the right people and strategies for fitness? (we certainly seemed to lack fitness in the latter part of games). Have we got the best scouts looking at both new young players for the academy and "ready made" players for the first team? Have we got any sort of scouting network abroad? Have we got the right people scouting the opposition? If the answer to any of these questions is NO then the new manager needs to ensure the right people are brought in ASAP.

My own view is that for all this to happen we need to appoint someone who has worked at Premier League level for a good number of years as this means they are more likey to know what works at that level and what is expected at that level. They will have seen it for themselves and will understand what is required. It will cost money but in the medium to long term the Club will reap the rewards.

No in my opinion.

We need a manager with experience.
