appointing Chris Hughton would be that, if what has been reported is true, then he would only be on £250k a year, which is nothing compared to DJ's wages. We could buy a very decent player with the money saved from DJ's wage!
But it is a massive risk appointing Chris Hughton. No real experience in the Transfer Market, has never built a team or a squad.
And we , in my opinion, only have about 8 players good enough for the squad at this current time, so he has a massive job on his hands if he gets the job, and he has no experience in doing it!
But I do think he would bring an air of sophistication and class to the club because he does seem very professional and well respected. And because he is more suited to being a coach, I'm sure he wouldn't be too afraid of using some younger players if they were good enough.
