IMO he'd be a disaster at this club - relegation would beckon. I don't normally react like this but the story actually terrifies me.

I don't even know Why Shearer would show any interest in working in a City he has absolutely no affiliation with. Doesn't he earn a packet on the BBC as a pundit? Why would he want to walk away from that to come all this way south?

He reluctantly gave that up to go to Newcastle temporarily, so why would he do the same for Cardiff? I don't think he has any point to prove.
