Shearer would not give up his cosy BBC position and ruin his standing in the game to take on a club fishing around bargain basement to put a team together surely? He would have vast contacts in the game and would attract top players think it would be a great move for us

I think the owners especially the malaysians will want a big and popular name in the UK and malaysia, with a name like Shearer at the club it will be more focus on the club through the news in the UK and in Asia.

If he is the new manager I think they are going for it to be honest, a big name will attract the better players

I been told even the back room staff are talking about Shearer as manager and that's from a member of the back room staff Does that mean he will be next manager They still don't know is the answer

Don't think he'd take it otherwise, just worry about his wages but its up to the Malaysians I guess. Not 100% on him but I'm not sure, might be an incredible move.
