If its Shearer lets back him 110%

Like many of you my first reaction was quite negative. I base this on his bland persona given on MOM. Also lack of experience but the more I think about it what a brave move by our owners. Definately profile raiser and as many have said surely some great contacts. Perhaps he will be given more backing than the already decent 20million quoted, surely he would have wanted some assurances!

I am shocked at some of our so called fans contempt for the guy, he is not officially confirmed yet and too much negativity for me! Just look how far this club has come to attract Alan Shearer regardless of his lack of experience, every manager starts somewhere why can he not be a success like he was a great player?
