Stroke of genius?

If, and it's looking pretty likely we will land Alan Shearer as manger tomorrow, could this be the stroke of genius that pushes us to the next level?
I like everybody else is shocked but on thinking more about this, thinks this could be absolutly perfect for us.
We all know how he was as a player, top of his game, model professional and always gave 100%. He's worked with the best and surely has no end of contacts throughout the game.
He's hungry for success as a manager, increases the profile of our club, and sends out a statement to the rest of the Championship that we are back for business.

Good Post Gareth....I think if it is Shearer we need to get 100 per cent behind him and who knows this could be our season. No more slagging off until we see what he and TJ can bring to the table both player and attitude wise!!!
