People are saying it's a shambles....

But to be fair to the Club they haven't made any announcements yet. It's all been speculation in the press. They had to speak to a range of candidates. Just because they spoke to Shearer doesn't necessarily mean that he was the preferred candidate...just that talks were unsuccessful. It wasn't the Club that revealed they spoke to Shearer...it was the media and Shearer himself. What was the Club to do??

At last, common sense!! Thanks mate been saying the same!! Everyone getting worked up over press speculation!! Im sure other managers understand it.

the rumor being that the club has said " they will make a statement today" end off,
we know nothing until that statement is fact. and if it is fact

as far as im concerned the company (ccfc) has now interviewed, all known candidates who have put their CV in,

the statement will go 1 of 2 ways,

1 we are please to announce ****************** as our new manager
or
2 at this moment in time we are leaving our options open as there are a few more candidtes we still need to speak to
