if he had 3 and half years left of his contract, Watford get no more than 3.5 yrs worth of salary, thats usually how compo works.

thats bollocks. we got 1m for brendan rodgers from reading and he was on a 12 month rolling contract.

he may have had a compensation clause put in hence the £1m....if MM has no such clause, expect 3.5 times his yearly salary in compo
