it cant be down to money because shearer would not be cheap !!

... Talks broke down with Shearer allegedly over his costs which is why we're not going for O'Neill.

But would he love us?

I spoke to Villa fan a few days ago and I asked if he wanted MON back.

He said MON did not respect Villa or their fans and kept talking about Celtic. Celtic this and when I was manager of Celtic......

maybe shearers costs were higher than expected because he would have to give up the BBC aswell? O'neill would be worth counting the coppers from the penny jar for.....thats that sorted then, easy wasn't it? Expect an announcement shortly! :lol: :ayatollah:

We seem to have gone around the block here and ended up where we started a week or so ago, mentioning people that were discussed on this board when the hunt for Jonesy's replacement was in it's infancy.

i repeat this from a baord member who drinks and supports my local football club *unamed* for obvisous reasons
