" 10 FIXTURES TO LOOK OUT FOR! "

Sat Jun 18, 2011 12:10 pm

For me these are the 10 fixtures too look forward to this season!

1. West Ham. Away- 6th August 2011

Every Fan from both clubs will be looking forward to this one. Not only because it's the first game of the season, but because it's between to of the biggest clubs in this division, and possibly the 2 that will be there or there about come April 2012.

2. Blackpool. Away- 17th September 2011

The first rematch of the 2009/2010 play off final. As we all know we were the unfortunate side on that day. Will Blackpool use the experience of premier league football to there advantage, or will Malky do what Dave Jones failed to do the last time we were in the same league, get the better of Ian Holloway!

3. Leeds United. Away- 29th October 2011

After Cardiff did the double over Leeds last season can we get off to a good start against them this season. A fixture that is an obvious one to look out for due to this Previous meetings between the clubs, the one that stands out is that magic night in the F.A cup at Ninian park. MY FAVOURITE GAME OF THE SEASON!

4.Birmingham City. Home- 3rd December 2011

Relegated from a long stay in the Premier League last season, Going to be favourites to win the league this year, and going to be a tough game for any team, but if were going to get promoted we need to be able to beat the top teams, One of the games of the season in my eyes.

5. Watford. Away- 26th December 2011

Last season Watford away was one of the trips of the season for me, even though we got hammered! Now we have Malky he is going to want to prove that he left for the better club. Get your arses down to Vicarage Road and support the boys!

6. Reading. Home- 2nd January 2012

First game of the new year, On the bank holiday, Always get good crowds despite the cold weather. Fucked up are chances of promotion against these just a few weeks back. Need to straighten things out this time round and start our push for the automatics this time round!

7. Middlesbrough. Away- 7th April 2012

Ruined our chances of Automatic promotion last season with that embarrassing 3-0 defeat at home. Can't let them do it again if were up there this season, Beginning of April, Last few games, and our final push for the promised land could start here!

8. Derby County. Home- 17th April 2012

Could well be our Final Tuesday night game of the Championship, where ever we are in the table. Not the strongest of teams, smashed them twice at the CCS in the last two seasons and another big victory over them at this stage of the season could well be the confidence boost needed to get us promoted, or to push for the play offs.

9. Leeds United. Home. 21st April 2012

As I said earlier My favourite game of the season, But with 2 games to go it makes it One of the biggest games as well. A tough game, but we seem to be there bogey team! This could also be the game were we lift the Trophy! ;)

10. Crystal palace. Away. 28th April 2011

This game could be make or break, but it could also be a nothing game, We could have won the league, be safe in the play offs, or could be sitting mid table. But as Cardiff usually do it the hard way i imagine we shall be playing for the play offs, therefore its another massive game, and also a good trip to go on.

They are the games i'm looking forward to this season, Do you agree?

Exited now  BLUEBIRDSSS!! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Nothing in it.
Just deluded Leeds fans thinking they can have anyone they want from any club in the division, just because they are Leeds and they once won the league 40 years ago.

Where is the £2m going to come from, as right now thats what we'd want for him.

Am I the only one not looking forward to Birmingham if Naylor plays? Burke plays the opposite wing to Naylor so will be same side - destruction.

£500k.

Couldn't buy his right boot for that.

McCormack was a fair deal all round as he was surplus to requirements and on big wages.

Different with Whittingham, he's a key player, on decent money, likes the area and the club, and has just got a new manager.
The only reason he'd be leaving is if Mackay doesn't want him, which is extremely unlikely. if he does then there will be a string of clubs after him. Remember season before last, Forest were saying he's coming to us and we'll wait until his contract is over and get him for nothing if you don't sell him to us... well that worked out well didnt it
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 030967.stm
They were prepared to pay £1.5m for him too , and he was rated at £2.5m. he wasn't as successful last season, being asked to play an unsuitable role, but his quality is obvious and he wont have lost value. He'd actually be the most valuable player in the club.

Maybe the Yorkie rag thinks we need to sell ? Not the most outward looking people up there, so I doubt they would be aware of our billionaire owner.
Another club who think their history means they can have whoever they want because of the name.

Yes fair play Ashley Williams will not doubt bag a couple.

In the wrong net

Hey you might suprise us yet, but you are going to need to strengthen in several areas to be in with a fighting chance.

I'd still swap places, even though I'd also be fearing humiliation. ;)

Norwich at least should be there for the taking. Maybe the likes of Blackburn, Wolves or Wigan ? But looking at the squad Wolves have vs yours and how they struggled its going to be a tough ask for you.
