Post of the day........................well done.

My old man died 8 yrs ago. 5 days before the play off final at the Millenium vs QPR.
Had his ticket and everything, hard day but also a great one.

He must of been as shocked to see Andy Campbell score as i was when he was looking down on the game.

RIP Dad, another Bluebird never forgotten

My father took me to Ninian in the early 70s and he was not interested in football. I was 11 at the time and eventually he allowed me to go with "friends". I've never forgotten those games he took me too.

My father passed away the week we got to Wembley, against Barnsley. He was not a Cardiff fan, could not understand why I followed them and if he was alive to see us get to Wembley he would shrug his shoulders and say to me "I just dont understand you." You see he did not have to take me to those games but he did, he saw in me what meant the most to me, the only man in this world that has seen that.

So to my dad RIP. I take my daughters now, your grand daughters, to see Cardiff play. Yeah you will be shrugging your shoulders at that I know lol but you know what it means to me. Thanks for your efforts all those years ago.

My dad passed away 3 years ago, him an me mum been married for 53 years. He loved his footy and took me to my first game in the 60's (England v Wales at NP).

We often had aguments about this an that and we used to wind each other up (nothing ever serious).

He was a perfect father and often threw me a few £ when times were tough especially when i got married at 22.

He loved his grandchildren (me an my bothers - 2 each) and saved all his "silver" in a big Roses jar then put it into their "halifax" account for "when they get older".

At times like this i miss him so much.......and do you know what........i never told him how much i loved him.

We all miss you dad, keep an eye on us please

Well said, LlantrisantBlue :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

My own dad passed away about a year ago :(

He lived in Llantrisant for many years and was actually related to Dr William Price (which may explain some of my own eccentricities!! )

HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL DADS WHO LOVE THEIR KIDS (of any age!! ;) )
