That can't be right. We sold him for about £350k, right? Now way we'd pay more than that for him, he's not advanced at all in a year.

Not saying we wouldn't go for him, but surely not for that price.

I would love a fit McCormack back at City.

Mackay is the man to get him back to his best.

With a new manager and so many other changes in personnel, it will almost be as if Ross is signing for a new club.

Will be interesting to see if players are played in their best position.

Always liked Ross and I believe if he'd have been handled better when he was here we may have seen a different McCormack, would be happy to see him back down here playing under Malky, 2nd chance saloon for him to show us if he is up to the task. Gerrard was a much better player up at Hull under a different manager could work with Ross.

Not so sure he'll show his hand BEFORE signing but Conway, Bellamy and Lonergan would excite me....

Would be personally disappointed to see Marshall go but I know he has Scottish International ambitions and we can no longer guarantee him the No.1 shirt....

if we had mccormack in the form he was in and passion he showed in our final season at ninan we would have won the league last year.. we need him and 9 more mccormacks and bellamy we will win this divison

If we're getting Rossco I think we can kiss good bye to Earnie coming back with Bellamy that'd be three in a similar mould. Frankly with Earnie free, creating a bigger lift for the place and that money going on another player. That would be a better option.

That said towards the tail end of last season Ross did start looking like the old him, who was pretty lethal on his day. People forget he was a chaser like Chops, that was til the weight got to him... like Chops.

id take ross back but no more than what we sold him for.

he was a good player. a championship rooney mold. strength and good touch and vision. shame jones wasted him on the wing all the time !!
