Optimism and youth come hand in hand

The excitement is certainly building for the new season and what better way to kick it it off than a trip to the league favourites at Upton Park.
What is most pleasing in the build up however is not only the youthful & modern approach that will be evident in our style of play and set up borne from our young manager - but the apparent faith he has in youth which is reflected in his transfer targets, and his tenure at Watford.
Players like Goodwillie, adding to the likes of Gerrard etc, who possess genuine talent coupled with a youthful passion for the game will generate a much welcomed breath of fresh air into the club and will build true optimism amongst us. MM clearly appreciates the value in this factor and will utilise it to propel us to the EPL.
If MM is able to strike a balance between a youthful Cardiff City and some more experienced heads we could be in for an absolute treat this season...

Whats more...this is an aspect that was arrogantly ignored in the previous regime. It will be great to see the likes of Ibby Farah etc to be given a genuine shot at things also

Yes Jon, I agree its time to start giving our youth players a chance, virtually ignored for a few years.
