I think he'l be here potentially, at the expense of a two million whittingham & gerrard transfer and a part cash... (although i hope dearly not) love to see gerrard back in city kit

if we manage to keep current squad we'll wrangle some kind of part up front fee with man city (2million + larger sum of wages)
if he can agree personal terms with the chairman regarding family and reasons for going, perhhaps they do the honourable thing as they dont need the money, take a small percentage of our promotion bonuses, however if we fail to make it we will then pay them in installments, over an affordable but reasonable time scale

Can't see us paying any transfer fee as that would mean taking on his contract which no one will pay.
