Just browsing on BBC Sport, Noticed that Luke Varney is joining Portsmouth from Derby. At the bottom of the page it went on to say that..
'Pompey, who recently signed Jason Pearce from Bournemouth, have also been linked to Cardiff's Peter Whittingham.
It has been reported that Blues boss Steve Cotterill is keen to make a £1.5m bid for the Bluebirds midfielder.'
Is this true?

Its been all over this forum
its only reported at this stage, no official approach at the moment
If pompey pay most of it upfront, cardiff will accept which in my opinion is bad business because he's worth much more than that!
