THANK GOD FOR CRAIG BELLAMY - RE: SHEARER!!

Tue Jun 28, 2011 11:02 pm

When TG was fooled into thinking Shearer could manage, thank God above
that City refused to turn their back on Craig Bellamy. Thank God Shearer
(par for the course) spat his dummy out

Look at the structure Malky Mackay is putting in place, look at the players
he's signing (and trying to sign) look at his drive and determination. Look
at the optimism at the Club.

Now imagine Shearer.

Sensible Noel Edmonds type shirt tucked into his slacks (no tie, mmmm groovy!)

He couldnt f*cking attract flies to the Club

Scary in a way. He nearly sneaked in through the back door, cos Jenkins and TG's
football knowledge was pretty minimal. Imagine.. he'd have been manager of this
Club because he was once a good player, and works on Match of The Day!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody wants him

He did nothing during his stint as Newcastle manager to show anyone anything
with regards managerial skills, although Joey Barton did say "Your shit!"...

Funny how Bartons career has been reborn, and all Shearer can get is a bit part
as 'straight' man to Mark Lawrenson

Shearer would have been the big name the Malaysians wanted. They would have given Shearer the funds to bring in a star studded squad. It would have been a squad of has beens if we are honest. Even so a squad that would have challenged. However it would have failed just like the previous boss.

This would have all happened if it was not for Bellamy and that is nothing to do wth the fact Bellamy would have piped up. No it would have been because Shearer would want rid of Bellamy and the Malaysians realised that would have pissed off us fans. The Malaysians know what lines not to cross and that is why they are good businessmen.

More shite from Tardapple.

You do know it was Shearer who was able to talk Owen into joining Newcastle Utd from Real Madrid?

Spot on. He'd have done a worse job than Dave Jones. It would have been
'jobs for the boys', on big money... because Shearer isnt a very well liked person.
Not a lot of younger players would have wanted to know. Certainly, in his
one crack at management he showed nothing, 5 points out of 24

Barton's career was re-born until his 4th season with Newcastle - A full season after Shearer left.

MM has signed one player and you are already cumming in your pants.

More shite from Tardapple.

He forgets that in those 8 games Newcastle Utd played Spurs, Villa, Liverpool, Chelsea and Stoke away. All those clubs finished in the top 8 that season.

Pulling the not well liked card?

How many clubs did Bellers leave on bad terms?

Blackburn? Liverpool? Man City? Newcastle?

The world class striker and currnet England number 9 when he signed for them. That Owen.

You blaming Shearer for Owen getting injured?

f*cking hell!

This is also the same Shearer who got to work with Bobby Robson for 5 years.

Chelsea have just given the job to another person that Bobby broke into the game.

Well not all of us, well actually not most of us. In fact those that seem to be getting excited are not because its MM but the fact that its not DJ managing anymore.

Shearer was renowned for spitting his dummy out on the pitch, and off it...

If you recall, when he was facing charges for booting Neil Lennon in the mush
he threatened to 'pull out of the England World Cup squad' if the case went ahead

Great player Shearer, but an utter c*nt

Erm... the point was.. Kidd was under the greatest manager of all time, yet
FAILED when in the hot seat himself. Greatness does not necessarily rub off!!

Five years under Bobby Robson and the best Shearer could do was 5 pts out of 24
and to get the great mans club relegated. Didnt learn much did he???

THATS why he's Alan Lawrensons sidekick

Cos you have no idea what you are talking about.

You said Barton was re-born after Shearer left - You didn't know that Barton didn't have a good season for Newcastle a full season until after Shearer left.

You other pearl of wisdom was that players wouldn't sign for Shearer. I then pointed out again that you didn't have a f*cking clue what you were talking about and explained to you that Shearer was the reason Owen signed for Newcastle.

As a Cardiff fan, you owe Shearer and Newcastle a lot.

Bellers had f*cking bombed for Coventry.

Everyone thought Bobby was crazy for signing him 6 million.

Bellers played his best football of his career at Newcastle and during his time there he was able to play at the highest level.

Winding you up, and tying you up in knots. I cant lose.

you have no evidence whatsoever that Shearer could be a good manager.

I have evidence to show that in his one short stint as a manager, he was
shite and they got relegated

I must admit I was initially taken back by Alan Shearer being linked with the club but a day later I was convinced we had just dodged a bullet.

I think the MM appointment was an inspired piece of business and I now believe he is the right man at the right time for he club. Cannot wait for the new season to start. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I confess, i only post about this to get a nibble.

but really, how on earth could the club justify giving him the job?

Yes, high profile, and would have been a great Marketing move.

but ultimately, the mans job would have been to get us promotion to the
Premier League, and "I knew Bobby Robson" is hardly the best CV is it?

...And thats no disrespect to Sir Bobby RIP

It would have been a disgrace if we'd got him as a manager, paying way over the odds most likely for someone with no real managerial experience and no real hunger to succeed as a manager if he couldn't even give up his BBC contract.
Glad we got MM instead that's for sure. :ayatollah:

Indeed. I can respect Shearer for not wanting Bellamy, they hate each other, and if he was
to be manager here then it'd have to be on his terms. For him to immediately blurt out a
pretty pointless statement shows it really pricked his arrogance when the club chose Bellers
over him!

But not wanting to give up entirely on his BBC work?

Not wanting to put all his eggs in one basket methinks

He may talk the talk, but he doesnt walk the walk, not like our Malky!!!! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
