How can you want our best player to leave?!

Peter Whittingham is currently our best player.
In Midfield he is better than McPhail, Wildig, Taiwo and with Conway we have no idea yet.
Whittingham is also a better midfielder than Parkin is a striker.
Whittingham is also a better midfielder than Heaton and Marshall are goal keepers.
Whittingham is also a better midfielder than Naylor is a left back.
So why on earth isn't everyone up in arms over Whittingham potentially being sold to Leicester?!
