Did anybody witness this?
I intentionally said witness because I know nobody from this board would ever get involved in such anti-social behaviour.
Stone Roses
(Newport Centre). Ian Brown, underestimating the tribal nature of Welsh folk, blithely donned a Cardiff City away shirt during this performance. Cue large punch-up involving punters from Cardiff, Swansea and Newport which continued outside in the car park. Thirty people were arrested.

I was there, no trouble inside the venue, Us v Newport outside, that aside, top gig...

If this was a good few years ago my mates were there & I've heard the stories.It got pretty nasty outside,no jacks there !!

If this was a good few years ago my mates were there & I've heard the stories.It got pretty nasty outside,no jacks there !!
Seen Ian Brown at the CIA before supporting the manics........He was off his face.Got booed off eventually after spitting on the crowd........Still love him tho.....He is as much as an icon as the sex pistols and no one will ever take that away from him
