DON COWIE SIGNS FOR BLUEBIRDS

Cardiff City FC are pleased to announce that Don Cowie has today joined the club as a free agent on a three year deal, having left Watford FC. The paperwork has been completed and is now subject to standard Football League approval.

Midfielder Cowie leaves the Hornets after two and a half years at Vicarage Road. The 28 year old Scotland International has completed a medical today and will officially link up with Malky Mackay and the squad on Monday as pre-season preparations continue.

very pleased with this signing, was hoping we would sign this sort of player... has a great engine and will work flat out .

Just got on line and to see Don Cowie has signed is excellent news if we can follow that signing up with Taylor and Goodwillie on Monday then the squad would be taking shape. Alll we need then is Gunnarson, Earnie and the icing on the cake would be Bellamy
