WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THE IPSWICH DEFEAT

Postby Forever Blue » Thu Dec 03, 2009 8:09 pm

Yes it is true Peter Ridsdale did go in to the Cardiff dressing and go mental at them all and told them their performance was totally unexceptical and how they had played over the last weeks.
I Have heard PR is ready to finally wield the axe,if there are few more defeats.

Where is he goi ng to get the £800k from, and also where would the funds for a new manager to bring his own men in come from.

Burton would probably end up the one sacked, whcih will be a real shame, we've done really really well wih youngsters since he's been here and i reckon a large amount of the credit for that should go to him.

Fair enough, but still doesnt explain where the compensation money would come from, also if we wanted a manager who's with someone else we'd have to pay them too.
TG's money would be swallowed p before we could say 'taxman' !

That would be anothe player we'd have to ship out.

The best chance of a change would surely be if serious money came in from outside.

Personally I would at least give it until the New Year and then make the decision when the window opens.

Don't forget, there is no guarantee that whoever comes in will be what we want.

Depends on how bad the results become.

if we say get 1 point from the next 4 games then he'd probably be over the tipping point.

A win on Saturday and things dont look so bad.

A win would ease the pain of last month of course, but 3 tough matches coming up.

Anyone's guess how the team react now on Saturday.

Will be interesting to see if DJ will make changes come Saturday.

As Freddie sang " pressure" sounds like more on Peter as he looks for a scapegoat to cover his role/Salary.

How many is 'a few more'?? Who'll be getting the axe? DJ, players??
And more importantly, who'll be the replacement(s)?

What's more likely, is that some coach, or maybe Terry Burton will be made a scapegoat.
