electronical help please

my mate is doing up his house, (which is quite large) and hes decided he wants one of those "wall speakers" where you press a button to a room, and you speak through it, and in that room they will hear

so he can be in the bedroom, and buzz down to the kitchen and talk to the person there.

does anyone know the proper term to this please, as we're stuck trying to find them
