Serious question re:signings

Re: the signings we are making and it is a good thing I know, but do you
think we are buying to put a squad together quickly just to get the numbers in before season starts or are the signings carefully thought out and targeted. I ask this as I wonder how quickly this squad will gel together on the football pitch and if we had got our manager in place sooner would these signings have been the same do you think?

Yup

Malky said that whitts was going nowhere and that the team was being built around him, so im guessing there's a bit of planning gone into this.
