Earnie is probably the favourite, although if Goodwillie or Bellamy sign he may not be 1st choice
For me I've got big hopes for Cowie, I like what I've read about him.

gunarsson
Sat Jul 09, 2011 9:38 am
Tbh all of them, Earnie to score 15-20 goals, gunnarson to evolve into a midfield general, cowie i personally think will provide great assists and conway to show his very good passing skills with both feet pumping in cross after cross for parkin to net
Edit: and taylor to sort out our LB position

Cowie & Conway!
Sat Jul 09, 2011 9:48 am
I would have to say Taylor.
Because of him we will see our back 4 in there correct positions.
Sat Jul 09, 2011 9:48 am
I think every player signed so far , will make more of an impression than most of the so called big names of last season. Which is progress , and MM still has not finished shopping yet .
Sat Jul 09, 2011 9:48 am
I dont think Earnie will score as much as he used to but I think he'll score a respectful 15 goals.
I can see Whitts being top scorer again. Gunarsson, well, hes gonna be fantastic, Cowie might get Parkin 10 goals if MM plays Parkin, Conway might score 6-7 goals and deliver brill crosses

We will see our back 4 in their correct positions because we have a manager who knows what he his doing!!!

earnie will be the big hit with the fans but him a side i think cowie!
Sat Jul 09, 2011 10:22 am
Earnie to prove his doubters wrong !
Sat Jul 09, 2011 10:57 am
If we can get Bellamy - then I believethat will be the player to make the biggest impression (like last season)
Or, If we get this Eremenko fella in (attacking midfielder, dead ball specialist) then It could be him too, I've been watching this guy and his video's etc etc - and I really think he could do a smashing job at this level I really do.... He's not a massive name, and pretty much unknown to most championship managers, so hopefully can slip under the radar and cause a few problems.....
If i'm going on players we've signed so far though, has to be Earnie! passionate, determined, fans favourite!

I'm impressed with the positivity in this thread lads.
Looks like as fans we are all pretty much united behind the new manager and players.
Good to see that the new guys are being welcomed and given a chance.
Hope the patience lasts a few defeats

Totally agree with this, personally i think Earnie will get back to his best this season but also fancy Conway to do well too!

Earnie for me to, but I will be keeping an eye out to see if any of the first year professional graduates from the academy can make a breakthrough.
I really hope MM is a guy who can bring youth team players on.

Yes Tony I'm hoping that a few break through in the next few years, Ramsey apart we've not had much success with our kids in the last few years, but this latest batch looked superb against England in the under 17s. Hope to be cheering on local boys like Declan John, Alex evans, Bowen, Yorwarth and Farah in a couple of years.

The only reason the back 4 out of position is because we didnt have a good enough left back
For all DJ'S faults he did a great job during his time as manager and mainly because of him we are a big team in the championship now.
I understand alot of people dont like him but im sick of people making out he is some sort of idiot.
MM has said and done all the correct things so far but as for him knowing what hes doing ill wait until he has atleast managed 1 game for city

He is already making an impression...............Malky McKay, he has the players moving in the right direction.
Toward the end of last season, for the first time in 35 years I did not like our club/team, and I admit for the first time I could not be bothered to turn up, not all but many of the players disgusted me and I could not stand to watch them.
McKay has made some smart signings already,I am starting to feel good about next season and I am looking forward to watching McKay build something special again..................

been very impressed the way malky as gone about the transfer market.and i also believe he has 2 possibly 3 aces up his sleeve.
Sat Jul 09, 2011 2:52 pm
I think Malky has been the best signing, as all I've read from interviews by our new recruits is how "the malky factor" helped persuade them to come to the CCS. And very importantly, he's brought with him a very positive aura, that is rubbing off on some of the more hard nosed fans.

Cowie
He will be our Scottish leader and the core of our team making it function correctly allowing other players to do what they do best.
Sat Jul 09, 2011 3:47 pm
Conway like all wingers fade in and out of games I cannot see Earnie being more than an impact player off the bench, gunnarson according to Coventry fans is excellent but lacks consistency therefore for me it will be Cowie with his box to box all action style and I would not be surprised if he is made captain if CB does not return
