Doesn't matter how you score. Once the ball is in the back of the net thats all that matters. No one cares how it got there in 99% of cases unless its a brilliant goal that gets noticed. A lot of Whittingham's are like that volley last season, the closer volley and the 2 free kicks vs Bristol City.

Surely is good to score from set pieces, a lot pop up durimg matcges and if you have someone who can score from them all the better

Whitts was used very poorly (deepest midfield player) last season and was still one of our top 4 players.

Whitts is lazy and can't tackle for shit. He had a fluke season in 2009/10 scoring 25. This season he didn't even get half that.

But we haven't got many players to be getting rid off, so would keep him.
