Rebekah Brooks rang Gordon Brown herself about 3 years ago to notify him that they were running the story and now he's complaining about it!!!

Well yes. I'm sure everyone is aware that the story broke 3 years ago    But perhaps Brown hadn't realised that they had actually hacked his private accounts, sons medical records etc until now. Question answered??

Ok forget about the fact the story broke 3 years ago. I've already answered that yet you seem to ignoring my (and everyone elses) posts.

So let me get this straight....you believe (yet have no evidence) that Gordon Brown is lying through his teeth about his sons medical records being hacked?

Hmmmmm. Perhaps you should tell Scotland Yard what you think. As they seem to believe it's true. But hey......what do they know compared to you?! Have a look below, several firms have alleged that NI obtained private info about Brown.

Now tell me this, what colour is the sky? What ever colour NI tell you it is?!

• Scotland Yard has discovered references to Brown and his wife, Sarah, in paperwork seized from Glenn Mulcaire, the private investigator who specialised in phone hacking for the News of the World.

• Abbey National bank found evidence suggesting that a "blagger" acting for the Sunday Times on six occasions posed as Brown and gained details from his account.

• London lawyers Allen & Overy were tricked into handing over details from his file by a conman working for the Sunday Times.

• Details from his infant son's medical records were obtained by the Sun, who published a story about the child's serious illness.

Brown joins a long list of Labour politicians who are known to have been targeted by private investigators working for News International, including the former prime minister Tony Blair and his media adviser Alastair Campbell, the former deputy prime minister John Prescott and his political adviser Joan Hammell, Peter Mandelson as trade secretary, Jack Straw and David Blunkett as home secretaries, Tessa Jowell as media secretary and her special adviser Bill Bush, and Chris Bryant as minister for Europe.

Care to explain precisely how Scotland Yard know such info, or more accurately, how those newspapers know that?

But hey, NI also cause cancer, kill kittens and hire Lee Naylor.

Fact.

I don't have an answer for..... blah...blah...blah... and I have no interest in finding one.

Why are you so interested in defending Murdoch's media whores?

Everything coming their way they deserve ten times over - and if they are getiing a bit of distortion or retribution in return for the shite they spew out every day - then absolutely no sympathy or concern from me.

In this case - whether 100% accurate or not - they ends definitely justify the means!

Stuff 'em!

When some of the allegations against Ni are that they paid the police, doesn't it ring bells in your head when other papers *claim* what Scotland Yard actually know?

And the Guardian are self sanctimonious wankers anyway - they got their "story" from Private Eye!

Fact is, NI are now the boogeyman. Any and everything will be thrown against them - other papers for now avoiding the glare of attention.

Because that gives the story legs - it then appears in ALL papers for weeks.

"Browns son has Cystic Fibrosis" is a one day story of little interest to anyone who does not know him.

"Brown complaint to Press Complaints commission over illegal Gutter Press intrusion" runs and runs.
