Surprised nobody has mentioned Tommy Smith as a potential signing yet. Malky will obviously know ALOT about him from his Watford days and there is no doubting that he's got the ability to shine in this division. It's fair to argue that he was Watfords best player whilst he was there are always managed 15+ goals from midfield every season. I don't think he's had the best time at Pompey but has done pretty well for QPR and is one of those players that is unlikely to do much for them in the Premier League and could well be off-loaded. Probably won't cost the Earth to get him either. I'd take a punt on him....
