Not down there then, but stayed in Looe for several weeks earlier in spring.
Looe not exactly buzzing, but I recommend the Portbyan Hotel,its right on the quay.
Really good nights Thurs and Sat when they have karaoke.Booze is reasonable too, and mine host, Terry very accommodating.

Going to Cornwall for august bank holiday to visit a mate. Stayin in Polperro which is not far from Looe.
