Regan going for Black

My Son Regan hopefully will be going for his black belt at Shotokan Karate this weekend in Bath as soon as his Sensei signs his forms, which hopefully he will this Thursday. He has trained his backside off for over 3 years and i have never seen someone so determined as he is at the moment. Admittedly it is going to be damned hard, they don't give these grade's away which is only right. Like a driving test you fail on one thing and he will fail the whole lot. He will have to show he can do sequence, Kata , and Fighting. We will be there about 10am until about 7 pm and then and only then will he find out if he has passed or not.

I have asked before gradings and competitions for you lot to wish him luck and he reads all the messages, so can you please leave your messages again for him and come Saturday night if he has his first Dan grade i will be the proudest Dad in the World. I think my Wife and myself are ten times more nervous than he is

I don't know you Nukes but you sound rightly proud at your sons achievements. Too many people slag off todays youth but forget that many parents put so much love time and effort in to raising children they can be proud of. PROUD OF HIM.....He should also be proud of you. Well done Son and all the very best in ALL that you do.

Regan had his Papers signed last night and we are of to Bath at 8.30. The nerves are kicking in now!! Not for him but ME !!
