Incredibly happy with this!
€1m works out at about £880k, which may seem like a lot, but think of it this way:
Would you be happy if we swapped Chopra for Miller, and were given £620k in the process? Because that's essentially what's happened.
When you think about it, we've given away Chopra, but got Mason and Miller out of it, and still money to sign another player (maybe cover Gunnar's compensation).
Not a bad deal when you think about it, we've definitely got the good end of it!

i think thats a great price for a proven international player. He will create more than he scores but he's pacy and intelligent. However, for badness - check out Kenny Miller miss v Clydebank on youtube!

If he score us 15-20 goals this season, it won't be too much money. He is a player who has played at the top level. Very pleased with this, personally.

Malky knows what he's doing.
If we have a budget, why not spend it if we need to.
We will still have more money in the kitty to bring in more players.

lets just wait and see .....

If he comes i think this could be the signing of the championship, i really think he will take it by storm
Wed Jul 20, 2011 11:34 am
with a lot of youngsters in the squad, he's the sort of seasoned pro that will be good for the club
hope this story is right
Wed Jul 20, 2011 11:35 am
ahhh good news at last
happy this 50 goals for Wolves in 162 league appearances thats awesome not to successful at Derby but i think will defo be a hit here

His record in the Championship is great he had three seasons with Wolves and he scored 24, 20 and 12 (playing on RW). He ripped up the SPL last year and has a good international record, extremely hard worker as well, would be a great signing IMO

I really want to have a wank! But not with my penis! I WANT TO WANK YOUR PENIS!

Evben s, for a player who was bought by them for half a million and has done f**k all for them? I'll be happy if he signs, but we'll have paid over the odds for him

Tomorrow is D-Day with Goodwillie as he is in court. If nothing comes of it then in my opinion he will be a Cardiff player shortly after.

Rangers have pulled out of the running for Miller now
Wed Jul 20, 2011 11:49 am
Not 100% on Miller but will support him and at least it looks like we're picking up a striker (we need strikers) who COULD do a job at this level.
Goodwillie is THE signing for me though - Bring on Friday

He was apparently top scorer in the SPL last season, even though he only played for half of it! 21 goals from 18 games isn't bad!
I imagine he didn't do so well in Turkey because he wasn't happy there. Still scored 5 goals from 15 though.
