For those who have had friends and family harshly dealt with in court over football related public order offences.
more than 100 protesters accused of storming the luxery london store fortnum & mason were sensationally let off yesterday.
the yobs many from privileged backgrounds rioted and police arrested 145 peoplefor among other things riot, aggravated trespass and criminal damage.
but yesterday the CPS SAID they were being let off ''in the publics interest''
seemingly its not what you know, its who you know.
as long as its not at football.

5 of my mates have done/are doing over 5 years for Chelsea
yet the bloke who swung on the cenotaph and threw a bin a Prince Charles Car
got the same sentence as Tec did for Chelsea

The fact is, the public like to see football hooligans punished, it makes them feel safe, that justice has been done.
The protesters that were arrested after trashing Fortnam and Mason are not a threat to the general public and hence it is not in the public interest to continue with the prosecution.
