Proud Malky's Army
we'll send them homeward

The original is TO think again sounds like they and pronounced TEY because of the accent

Great song though!! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Scottish Manager, Scottish Players, Scottish Anthems.....I'm starting to forget that I am Welsh.

I like what you've done and appreciate the amount of effort you've put in - the lyrics are good, but I just don't think we should be singing our own version of the Scottish National Anthem, while watching our predominantly Scottish Team playing under our Scottish Manager.

Or maybe I'm completely wrong and we should change our badge to a Thistle too?

Agreed for no other reason than there is no such thing as a 'Flower of Cardiff' :?

However, singing the orginal version would be unquie and a tip of the hat towards our Scottish players and management. :ayatollah:

no effort whatsoever, only took a minute
i do agree, though i posted the song, that its probably a bit of an insult to the scots changing the words to a popular jock anthem, but a lot of posters are giving ideas and 99.99% of them will never get used, including this one

its not their national anthem though, they havnt officially got one :?

Sorry to sound a bit picky.nice tune but flower of scotland relates to the defeat of king edward 1's army either in 1297 or in 1314 at bannockburn.the song says " who stood against us proud edward's army".so edward was the enemy.proud malky's army wouldnt be standing against us as we would be on the same side.love ccfc and like history and would like the song to make sense but it doesnt.sorry. :ayatollah:

O' Flower of Cardiff
When will we see, your like again
we fought and sang for
another great Bluebird Win.

who'll stand against us?
(quick and loud) against - Proud Malky's Army
cos we'll send them homeward
ta think again

I think the 'quick and load' part is a definate must!
I think a sharp, loud 'WHO'LL STAND!' instead of against... so reading slightly differently :

O'Flower of Car-diff,
When will we see, you score again,
we fought and sang for,
A goal to send us wi-ld!

Who'll stand against us?
WHO'LL STAND! Proud Malkys Army,
will send them home-ward,
ta think again!

My internet is being a bitch n not letting me watch youtube vids, so cnt hear the tune t put words to it...

Either way, GET THIS GOING :D :D :D :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I think you'll find its a Scottish National song, sung at all Scottish sporting events... such as the Welsh anthem is sung at both football and rugby...

I personally think the players and staff will enjoy it :ayatollah:
