Class of 2011 vs 2012

Well if we look at last year's team vs the best team from our current squad, I feel last year's is better by some distance...
Goalkeepers - No change
Defense - Stronger due to Taylor
Midfielder - Weaker due to the absence of Oli, Burkey and Bellamy
Forwards - Bothroyd and Chops versus Miller and Earnie, my opinion weaker.
However, this is ON PAPER, I think the important thing is that we perform as a TEAM but I thought it would be interesting to start the debate...

we had the best team in the league last season ON PAPER and it meant feck all!! this season iam looking forward to a team full with hungry youthfull players who are gunna run there hearts out to wear there shirt,not that like the over payed shits from last year!!

Last year we were a team of talented individuals who failed , This year we will be a team who run their bollocks off and give their all every game

As it stands its a close call. If we can sign bellers, I think we'll be just as good on paper this season, but more importantly we'll be better on the park.

Jonjo Shelvey (loan)
Craig Bellamy
Wayne Routledge (stop him at junction 33 on the way down west)
Goodwillie

my views on team
Goalkeepers
If we can keep them injury free they will be best in championship by far
Defenders
i assume we lost adam matthews and replaced him with taylor
we gained gerrard back he will be like a new signing
Midfileders
lost olofinjana and replaced him with kiss
lost rae and replaced him with gunnarson
lost burke and replaced him with conway
lost bellamy replaced him with cowie??? not to sure on this but from what i can see he has
Strikers
lost chopra repaced him with miller
lost bothroyd replaced him with gestede
gained mason
gained earnie
if we can sign a winger, a center back and goodwillie, think our team will be hungry enough for promotion under malky
